New York’s Public Theater at their Free Shakespeare in the Park play, aired a production called “Julius Caesar.” In this play, however, they changed the main character to President Trump.

The original Julius Caesar play portrays the story of the leader being assassinated by the RomanSenate over the fear that he’s becoming too tyrannical, however, this “new version” depicts lookalikes of President Trump and the first lady, Melania, who take the role of Caesar and his wife. In the end, Donald Trump is stabbed to death by minority groups.

But the great news is two companies, Delta Airlines and Bank of America, who donated annually to the New York Public Theater have pulled their funding as a result of this play.

Delta Airlines, who donates 100,000-499,000 a year made the following statement:

“No matter what your political stance may be, the graphic staging of Julius Caesar at this summer’s Free Shakespeare in the Park does not reflect Delta Air Lines’ values….Their artistic and creative direction crossed the line on the standards of good taste. We have notified them of our decision to end our sponsorship as the official airline of The Public Theater effective immediately.”

A Bank of America spokesperson also responded similarly:

“Bank of America supports art programs worldwide, including an 11-year partnership with The Public Theater and Shakespeare in the Park…The Public Theater chose to present Julius Caesar in a way that was intended to provoke and offend. Had this intention been made known to us, we would have decided not to sponsor it.”

In the video below I show the actual footage from the play…
